Allergy Support Group

On Monday, May 9th at 6:30 pm, Dr. Shelly Flais will be the guest speaker at the upcoming POCHA of Will County support group meeting for families with food allergies. Her presentation is entitled "Navigating the Psychosocial Aspects of Our Kids' Food Allergies at Home, School and in Restaurants."

POCHA of Will County stands for Parents Of Children Having Allergies. The group meets several times throughout the year to discuss issues unique to families raising children with food allergies.

Two of Dr. Flais's four children have been living with food allergies for years and she understands the concerns and challenges facing parents from a personal as well as professional perspective.

Dr. Flais along with her husband, allergist Michael Flais are the medical advisors for the group.
